PCNL

PCNL (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy) is an advanced minimally invasive procedure used to remove large or complex kidney stones that cannot pass naturally. Through a small skin incision in the back, a special instrument is inserted to access the kidney and break the stones into smaller fragments for safe removal.

This highly effective treatment is recommended for stones too large for other methods like URSL or RIRS. PCNL preserves kidney function while ensuring complete stone clearance. Compared to open surgery, it offers faster recovery, less pain, minimal scarring, and shorter hospital stay, helping patients regain comfort and urinary health with confidence.
