URSL

APEX CITI HOSPITAL

URSL (Ureteroscopic Lithotripsy) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat stones located in the ureter. Using a thin ureteroscope, doctors carefully access the ureter through the natural urinary passage, locate the stone, and break it into smaller fragments with laser or other advanced energy sources. These fragments are then removed or allowed to pass naturally.

URSL is a safe and highly effective treatment for medium-sized ureteral stones. With no external cuts, it offers minimal discomfort, faster recovery, and a shorter hospital stay, allowing patients to return to their normal routine quickly and safely. It also reduces the risk of complications associated with untreated stones and ensures better long-term urinary health.
